Favorite

In BetLab the favourite is determined by the pre-match win coefficient. The user sets a coefficient range, and the team whose value falls within this range is used by the algorithm as the selected team.

How the favourite is set

In the “Favourite” section you need to specify the range of pre-match win coefficients for the team. For example, the range 1.20–1.60 will select teams with a win coefficient inside these boundaries. The name of the setting does not change even if the user sets a range of high coefficients.

Conditions relative to the selected team

After determining the team you can set conditions relative to it: whether it is winning, losing or drawing, playing at home or away. Thanks to this one scenario is applied regardless of whether the selected team is Team 1 or Team 2.

Limitation

Algorithms with the “Favourite” setting enabled cannot be used as a filter on the Live page. This limitation must be taken into account when creating an algorithm.

Starting odds Pre-match coefficient is the value of the coefficient before the start of the match. In BetLab algorithms it can be used to select matches. For example, to leave only games in which the pre-match coefficient on Over 2.5 was in the range from 2.00 to 3.00.
