BetLab Platform Methodology

Effective date: Nov 19, 2019

Purpose of the document
This Methodology describes the operating principles of the BetLab platform, the procedure for processing sports data, the logic of user algorithms, and platform limitations. The document is intended to help users understand how BetLab tools function and what tasks they solve.

1. Platform Status

BetLab is a software SaaS platform for sports analytics.

The platform is not a bookmaker, does not accept bets, does not organize gambling, does not pay out winnings, does not provide brokerage services in the field of betting, and does not provide forecasts for sports events.

BetLab does not recommend users to place any bets and does not determine which events are promising. The user makes all decisions independently.

2. Main Purpose of BetLab

The main task of the platform is to provide the user with professional tools for analyzing sports statistics.

The user can:

  • analyze match statistics;
  • create their own algorithms;
  • test algorithms on historical data;
  • automatically track matches matching specified conditions;
  • receive notifications;
  • track algorithm performance statistics;
  • use algorithms from other authors by subscription.

3. Algorithm Builder

Each algorithm is entirely created by the user. BetLab only provides configuration tools.

When creating algorithms, dozens of parameters can be used, including:

  • match time;
  • score;
  • odds;
  • shots;
  • shots on target;
  • dangerous attacks;
  • ball possession;
  • corners;
  • cards;
  • xG;
  • intensity;
  • and other available metrics.

The platform does not change the algorithm's logic after it is saved.

4. Retroanalysis

Retroanalysis allows you to check how a selected algorithm would have performed on historical sports data.

All calculations are performed automatically using the same conditions that the user specified in the algorithm.

BetLab does not manually adjust test results and does not exclude unsuccessful triggers.

Historical results serve solely as an analytical tool and are not a guarantee of similar results in the future.

5. Automatic Signals

After saving an algorithm, the system continuously analyzes incoming sports data.

When match parameters match the algorithm's conditions, BetLab generates an informational signal.

At the user's discretion, the signal can be sent:

  • to Telegram;
  • to the mobile app;
  • through other supported notification methods.

Signal generation only indicates that the algorithm's conditions have been met and is not a recommendation to take any action.

6. Algorithm Statistics

For each algorithm, statistical indicators are automatically calculated, including the number of signals, streaks, ROI, Yield, potential profit, maximum drawdown, and other metrics.

All calculations are based solely on the mathematical processing of sports data and the parameters selected by the user.

7. Algorithm Marketplace

BetLab provides a platform where independent authors can publish their own algorithms.

Other users can subscribe on a weekly or monthly basis to access such algorithms.

BetLab is not the author of the published algorithms, does not modify their settings, and does not guarantee the achievement of any results.

8. LIVE Section

The LIVE section displays sports statistics in real time.

Depending on data availability, the following may be displayed:

  • attacks;
  • dangerous attacks;
  • shots;
  • shots on target;
  • possession;
  • corners;
  • cards;
  • xG;
  • intensity charts;
  • other match statistics.

The information is for informational and analytical purposes only.

9. Data Sources

BetLab uses data from specialized sports statistics providers.

The platform does not change official match results and does not affect the statistics received from data providers.

10. Limitations

BetLab provides software analysis tools.

Any indicators obtained through the platform, including retroanalysis, potential profit, ROI, Yield, and other metrics, are not a promise of profitability, guarantee of results, or recommendation to place bets.

11. Final Provisions

BetLab is exclusively a sports analytics tool.

The platform helps analyze sports events, test your own strategies, automate match searching, track statistics, and receive notifications based on user-defined conditions.

BetLab does not accept bets, does not act as a bookmaker, does not provide sports event forecasting services, and is not responsible for decisions made by users based on their own analysis.
