The Greek Women's Super League is the top tier of women's club football in Greece, where elite teams battle for the national title. It showcases competitive spirit and aims to elevate Greek women's football on the continental stage.

History and foundation

Established in 2007 amid growing enthusiasm for women's soccer, the league evolved from regional formats to a national one by 2010. PAOK dominated early, clinching 8 straight titles from 2012 to 2019. A pivotal moment came in 2020 when Olympiacos snapped the streak, scoring a record 142 goals. The league adapted to COVID disruptions and introduced playoffs in 2023 for added drama.

Running from October to May, the league features 12 teams in a double round-robin format: 22 matches each. Top four enter a championship playoff, bottom sides fight relegation. Champions qualify for UEFA Women's Champions League, runners-up for Conference League.
