Launched in the early 1990s post-Yugoslav independence, the modern cup began in 1992 with Vardar U19 as inaugural champions. It has nurtured stars like Ilija Nestorovski and Ezgjan Alioski. The 2018 final saw Shkëndija U19 thrash Rabotnički 4:1, a goal-fest record. Pandemic halted 2020 edition, but it rebounded in 2021 with 24 teams. Tournament format
Pure knockout: round of 16, quarters, semis, final. Single-leg ties except possible two-legged later stages, starting September to May final. Teams qualify via youth leagues. Full 90 minutes, extra time, penalties—no draws.
