In an Omani First Division clash, Majis edged out Al-Orouba Sur 1-0 at home. The only goal came as early as the opening minute, and the hosts managed to cling to their slender advantage until the final whistle.

Despite enjoying 75 % of possession compared to Majis’s 25 %, the visitors could not turn their dominance into goals. Majis proved more clinical, registering 45 dangerous attacks to Al-Orouba’s 37. The away side earned four corners to two, were awarded a penalty and picked up two yellow cards, but failed to convert their opportunities.
