In the opening round of the Ukrainian Women’s Cup, Shakhtar Donetsk hosted Sisters Odessa. The visitors took the lead in the very first minute and added a second goal before half-time. The hosts pulled one back after the interval, yet failed to turn the game around.

Ball possession was equal at fifty percent each, but Sisters looked sharper in attack and earned seven corners to Shakhtar’s four. Neither side received any cards, and no penalties were awarded. The Odessa side thus began their cup campaign with a confident win.
