Maccabi Kabilio Jaffa edged Hapoel Akko 1-0 at home in the Israeli second-tier league. The only goal arrived in the very first minute, and the hosts defended that lead until the final whistle. Jaffa earned four corners to Akko’s three and showed better discipline on the pitch, although Akko held 53 % of possession compared to 47 % and launched more attacks. The match grew heated late on, with seven yellow cards issued to the hosts and three to the visitors.
