The Liberia Championship First Division, commonly called the Liberian Premier League, is the top tier of football in Liberia. Established in 1946 under the Liberia Football Association (LFA), the league faced suspensions during the civil wars of the 1990s and 2000s but relaunched strongly in 2006 with 10 teams.
