The Fiji Women's Inter-District Championship is the premier national competition where teams from various districts across the archipelago compete for supremacy. Run by the Fiji Football Association, it features sides from Central, Western, Northern, and Eastern divisions, highlighting the surge in women's football amid rugby's dominance.

History and foundation

Launched in the early 2000s to boost women's soccer, it gained traction in the 2010s with Rewa Women clinching early titles. The 2018 season shone when Rewa defeated Ba Women 3-1 in the final. COVID halted play in 2020, but 2021's revival drew record crowds. Fun fact: Nasau from Nasinu Women saved 15 shots in a 2022 semifinal, a national record.

Tournament format

District qualifiers feed into a group stage with 8-10 top teams split into two groups for round-robin play, followed by knockouts: quarterfinals, semis, and a neutral-site final in Suva. Running March to October, matches are 90 minutes on artificial turf.
